UNS N05500 Monel K-500, Alloy K500 Corrosion Resistant Round Bar For Piping And Marine Fixture overview
Monel K500 Round Bar is designated as UNS N05500 and Werkstoff Number 2.4375. Alloy K500 Round Bar are known as Monel K-500 Round Bar, Monel Alloy K500 Round Bar & Nickel Alloy K500 Round Bar. Alloy K500 Round Bar, Monel K500 Flat Bar and Monel K500 Hex Bar has a greater tendency toward stress-corrosion cracking in some environments than Monel 400 bar. The corrosion resistance of Monel K500 Hexagonal Bar is substantially equivalent to that of Alloy 400 Bar except that when in the age-hardened condition, nickel alloy K-500 has a greater tendency toward stress-corrosion cracking in some environments.
