UNS S31803. The Tensile Strength at Break of Duplex 2205 stainless steel is >= 621 MPa (>= 90000 psi). The Yield Tensile Strength of is >= 448 MPa (>= 65000 psi). It has a Modulus of Elasticity of (190 GPa) 27500 ksi. It is used in many applications such as CO2 tertiary recovery piping, ocean-going tankers, chemical processing, pulp digesters, pressure vessels, feedwater heaters, flue gas scrubbers, tank trailers, pulp & paper industry, etc.

Because of this, it gives a better crevice corrosion resistance, pitting and resistance to general corrosion, than 316L and 317L stainless steels.
