PRE-PAINTED GALVANIZED STEEL COILS / PPGI
PPGI is pre-painted galvanized steel, also known as pre-coated steel, color coated steel etc.
Using Hot Dip Galvanized Steel Coil as the substrate, PPGI is made by first going through surface pretreatment, then the coating of one or more layers of liquid coating by roll coating, and finally baking and cooling. The coatings used including polyester, silicon modified polyester, high-durability, corrosion-resistance and formability.
The prepainted steel coil is coated by organic paint on the surface of galvanized steel or galvalume steel coil both sides or single side and the paint can be different colors according to RAL book or customers’ own color sample. <RAL Book is available >
The performance of rust-resistance is best among galvanized steel coils and galvalume steel coils. Usually the paint is used with polyester paint, silicone modified polyester, high-durable paint, pvdf paint or other specified paint.
Protective film is available to apply on the surface of prepainted steel coils, before film application on the surface, We makes test about film performance to guarantee the film quality accepted by customers.
