305 is used for applications requiring a low rate of work hardening and typically undergoes severe cold forming during fabrication. The higher nickel content slows the work hardening and makes it ideal for eyelet and other deep draw applications. Gibbs can supply Type 305 Eyelet Quality in gauges from 0.15mm - 4mm in the deep draw annealed condition.
