Incoloy Alloy 825 High Temp Supper Alloy In Form Of Tube , Pipe, Sheet , Plate overview

Incoloy 825 is highly resistant to acid and alkali metal corrosion. It has a high nickel content, sufficient to resist chloride ion stress corrosion cracking, and a very stable austenite structure. The levels of molybdenum and copper enable the alloy to resist reducing agents and acids. Chromium gives resistance to oxidising conditions, such as nitric acid solutions, nitrates and oxidising salts. The alloy is titanium stabilised to resist pitting and intergranular attack after fabrication, particularly welding, which includes heating in the critical sensitisation temperature range (650°C – 760°C).

The Chemical Composition of Incoloy 800 is Nickel Ni 30-35%, Iron Fe ≥39.5%, Manganese Mn ≤1.5%, Chromium Cr 19-23%. The Density of Incoloy 800 is 0.287 lb/in3 (7.94 gm/cm3). Incoloy 800 Ultimate Tensile Strength is 87 ksi (600 MPa). The Yield Strength of Incoloy 800 is 39.9 ksi (275 MPa). The Elongation at Break of Incoloy 800 is 45%.
