410 Stainless Tube is a basic martensitic grade which contains 11.5% chromium, offering both exceptional wear and corrosion resistance. AISI 410 Pipe is ductile and can be formed. SA 268 TP410 is magnetic in all conditions. ASTM A268 TP410 Seamless Tubing has good corrosion resistance along with high strength and hardness. In the annealed condition, SS 410 Tubing is ductile and may be formed. ASTM A268 TP410 Polish Tubes are suitable in environments containing weak or diluted acetic acid, naptha, nitric acid and sulfuric acid. TP 410 Stainless Steel Tube is generally used for applications which involve mild corrosion, high strength, and heat resistance. SS 410 Seamless Tube is best machined in the annealed condition at surface speeds of 60 – 80 feet (18.3 – 24.4m) per minute.

Superalloys are simply defined as "alloys developed for elevated temperature service, usually based on group VIIA elements, where relatively severe mechanical stressing is encountered and high surface stability is frequently required". Three classes of alloys have appeared: cobalt-base, nickel-base, and iron-base to meet this definition.

1) Monel 400
Monel is resistant to corrosion and acids, and some alloys can withstand a fire in pure oxygen. It is commonly used in applications with highly corrosive conditions. The good resistance against corrosion by acids and oxygen makes monel a good material for the chemical industry.
