The steel - plastic Copolymer Coated Steel Tape is composed of one - side or two - side composite ethylene - acrylic copolymer (EAA), with natural color and green color.Copolymers bond well to steel strip substrates and form strong bonds with low density, linear low density, medium density, high density polyethylene and halogen-free polyolefin (HFPO) sheath resins.It provides a reliable moisture-proof, shielding and chemical protection layer for the cable core.
Copolymer coated steel tape, which also named as copolymer laminated steel tape, steel copolymer lamination tape, EAA-AL-EAA lamination steel tape, ECCS tape, EVA copolymer coated steel tape with one side, Polyster coated steel tape with one side, plastic coated steel tape, EGE tape , they are used in shielding for fibre optical cables and electronic cables and enhances their functionality by providing electrical, moisture, and/or thermal shielding, while providing a bonding layer to some shielded cable applications. Such cables can be buried or can be above ground but in both cases the cable needs to be protected to prevent physical damage and to prevent penetration of contaminants.
