Copolymer coated aluminum tape ,which also named as copolymer laminated aluminum tape, aluminum copolymer lamination tape, EAA-AL-EAA lamination tape, Polyster coated aluminum tape or PE coated aluminum tape, it applies for shielding and moisture barrier for fibre optical cables. It consists of an pure aluminum tape coated on one side with an adherent copolymer with clear or blue color. The aluminum is electrical grade and purity, which has high conductivity and fabrication characteristics, Aluminum alloys available 1050, 1060, 1200, 1145, 8011 according to customized requirements.
The copolymer of ethylene-acrylic acid (EAA) is produced based on Dow Chemical's Primacor resins and DuPont™ ethylene-acid copolymer resins, it provides excellent adhesion to the aluminium substrate and has the chemical resistance and general characteristics of low-density polyethylene and gives excellent bond strength to low, linear low, medium and high-density polyethylene.
